big leaf cabinet

constructed entirely of western maple, this michael pekovich-inspired cabinet was a commission for my parents to replace their IKEA bathroom cabinets. the primary construction is wedged mortise and tenon with frame and panel doors.
the top backsplash was cut to mirror the angles and height changes of existing trim on the wall above the cabinet. the door and drawer pulls were routed out to be low profile and avoid things catching on a knob or pull.
