crescendo cabinet

this cabinet represents the culmination of nine months of dedicated learning and practice. crafted from cherry with walnut detailing, i wanted to showcase the beautiful cherry grain and allow for as much vertical and continuous grain as possible. the sides are book-matched thanks to an incredibly lucky find at the lumberyard, with dovetail joinery and fit into a groove in the legs. the doors are vacuum bag veneered with solid wood edge banding.
